Much has been said about the wrong headed, anti Iraq War political opportunism of Democrats Pelosi, Dean, Murtha, Boxer and others.

 However, the really serious damage to the Democrats has come from John Kerry on Face the Nation,  “And there is no reason, Bob, [Shaefer] that young American soldiers need to be going into the homes of Iraqis in the dead of night, terrorizing kids and children, you know, women, breaking sort of the customs of the–of–the historical customs, religious customs.”

 From the standpoint of the military planners and GIs who know that they are much safer and more effective, operating at night with surprise on their side, it makes Kerry either an unthinking dunce who would serve America best by retiring to a castle in France -- or an enemy who wants to get them killed.  

 From the standpoint of the enemy, Allah has come through like a champ. John Kerry the
“Military Hero” for whom half of the American electorate voted, says that American soldiers are terrorists.

 Democratic political strategists, have to wonder what they did to so anger God that he would foist Kerry on them.   

 Those comments are vintage Kerry, reminiscent of  his testimony during the Vietnam War when he linked the American soldiers to Genghis Khan. 

That un-American stupidity will be fed to Kerry via suppositories for years to come. Knowing that, the Democrats have to be scrambling to avoid being rained on, or stepping in, the fall-out!
