For years we have avoided posting banner ads or doing
anything else that would smack of hucksterism. We are professional
investigators and have no need to sell the products or services of others.
Yet we are also consumers and like many others try products and are either
satisfied or dissatisfied.
Not only do we buy and use
commonly used products, such as Microsoft Office or Windows, we also
purchase an inordinately large number of smaller items designed to enhance
performance or protect us from the the myriad of hazards and annoyances
one encounters on the internet.
We are not computer experts! On
the contrary, we are end-users who have gotten stuck with products
designed to protect us from things like "pop up ads", attacks by hackers,
spam e-mail, etc. As I say, most of the time we are either satisfied or
dissatisfied with the software products we buy over the internet. . Some
of the time the product works great but there are side effects. For
example, the product slows the computer down. Or in other cases the
product works fine but it is just too time consuming or troublesome to
use. In some cases we have not been able to get the product to perform and
have not been able to get anyone to tell us how to make it work. In some
cases, I am convinced that the product never did work.
I can't recall how many of these
security related software products we have purchased, installed, used and
then just uninstalled because they caused more problems than they solved.
Like many of you, I have been
harassed , and my valuable time stolen by spam e-mail -- junk mail that I
find both offensive and annoying. In my search to find a product that
really works, I came across "Mail Wiper". I can't tell you how delighted I
am with its performance! They say that we Americans want instant
gratification. "Mail Wiper" does this that -- it gives the user instant
gratification! I use Microsoft Outlook to handle my e-mail. After
installing "Mail Wiper" I called up my e-mail. 39 messages came into my
"In Box". Within seconds "Mail Wiper" took over, and dumped 38 of the 39
messages into a special screening area from which it automatically
conducts additional tests to sort out junk mail from the mail I really
want to read. As you can see, out of the 39 messages I would have had to
go through, only one was important to me. That message was left in my
inbox for examination at my leisure. I won't go into how "Mail Wiper"
makes certain that it does not throw away non-spam, but it does and I'm
confident that I don't have to worry about the baby being thrown away with
the bath water.
I felt so elated about about my
good fortune in finding "Mail Wiper", that I decided to set up this
section on my web site and put our reputation for honesty and integrity
behind it. Now that this page is in place, we may post future software
security ads, if so they will have to leap high to meet the standard set
by "Mail Wiper".
