bullet 1984 - Appointed by the Nevada Attorney General to redraft the statute dealing with the licensing of Private Investigators.
bullet 1986 - Testified before the State Legislature on Eavesdrop and Wiretap legislation.
bullet 1987 - Formed and led the Ad Hoc Committee to oppose the "Video Surveillance Act of 1987". The act was defeated. Had it passed, use of video by the private sector, to investigate crime and to protect life and property would have been sharply curtailed or in many cases, eliminated.
bullet 1993 - Testified before the State Legislature in support of Stalker legislation.
bullet 1993 - Testified before the State Legislature on unlicensed activity in the security industry.
bullet 1993 - 1994 - Formed and led a nationwide Ad Hoc Committee which acted in concert with other nationwide groups to persuade Congress to enact realistic DMV record dissemination legislation. Licensed Private Investigators were granted a specific exemption to the constraints of this law.
bullet 1995 - Testified before the state legislature on legislation pertaining to DMV record dissemination.

 2006 - Formulated, drafted and presented a revision of  NRS-648 which proposed to establish a new category of licensure, "Computer Forensic Examiner". Received support from the Nevada Society of Professional Investigators and The State of Nevada Private Investigators Licensing Board.

2007 – Testified before the Nevada State Legislature on an extensive revision of NRS-648 which regulates the activities of Private Investigators and Computer Forensic Examiners. The bill received unanimous approval of the Senate but died in the Assembly when the committee chairman failed to bring it up for a vote. 

2007 – ITT Technology, Criminal Justice Program -  Guest Lecturer on investigative matters.
