Although
we tend to group the different types of investigations in one
of three categories,
Personal Matters, Business Matters or
Legal
Support,
we find
that several types of investigations, Assets Searches, Missing
Persons Locates and Background Investigations, to name a few,
are used by Attorneys, Private Parties and Businesses. In
fact, a fourth broad category of investigation, Electronic
Eavesdrop and Wiretap Detection is
used by clients in all categories.

Our point is
that we don't want you to feel excluded if the type of inquiry
you need does not appear to fall under the category to which
you belong. We are here to serve clients in all categories.
Frankly, the lists of types investigations set forth in this
section are for your use as a potential client. We look at the
facts the client gives us, and the problem at hand. We then
look for a solution. We don't try to put a name to it or put
an investigation into a particular type or case category. We
consider making such a distinction a waste of time.

The
easiest and fastest way to find out if your investigative
problem is something we can address, is to ask us. We
encourage you to use the

appears at the top of every page, to
lay out your issue, or if time is critical,
don't hesitate to phone us

 | Every so often we shock a
client by declining an assignment. What follows is a list of
the types of assignments that we turn down. |
|
|
 | We do not accept bodyguard or
personal protection work. We are investigators, pure and
simple. |
|
|
 |
We do not do
service of process. The State of Nevada licenses persons as
Process Servers, and we are not so licensed. However, if it is
a difficult locate, or the SUBJECT is evasive, we will locate
the SUBJECT and vector in a Licensed Process Server to make
the actual service. We have been uniformly successful in these
and gladly accept this type of assignment.
|
|
|
 | We do not accept any
assignment that we feel might be used to support ongoing or
projected criminal activity. |
|
|
 | We will not accept any
assignment that requires us to engage in illegal activity. |
|
|
 | We will not accept any case
wherein we believe that by undertaking the investigation, the
client is not making the best use of his or her funds to
accomplish the stated objective. A good example of this is
currently set forth in
Kaplan
Responds. In that situation, the potential client is
advised to spend her limited funds on a lawyer first -- then
an investigator, if warranted. |

 | Stalkers seem to think that
PIs will sell information to anyone. That is a faulty
judgment. The vast majority of PIs feel a strong sense of
responsibility to protect the public from these misfits. We at
Attorneys' Investigative Consultants are proud to be
responsible for bringing to justice a man who had been
stalking a woman for 11 years. We have developed some
very effective ways of screening these people. Needless to
say, we don't take their cases. |
|
|
 | We
will not provide services of any type to anyone we believe to
be a drug dealer or drug trafficker. We believe that if we
have any God given talents in this pursuit, that gift carries
with it an obligation to give neither aid nor comfort to these
enemies of society. |
